The opportunity

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Sales Team as our newest Territory Rep! You will be responsible for identifying and developing new client opportunities, into accounts you will own and manage.

You will also be responsible for an existing client base, where you will create and expand on current business.

You will be responsible for managing your own territory. The role requires your you to own your position, develop and build key relationships with your clients.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new opportunities both clients and tipping solutions 
  • Cold calling- phone calls & face to face on construction sites
  • Visit 8 – 10 sites per day
  • Develop and build key relationship with new and existing clients
  • Work well across all business units
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPI’s
  • Assisting and improving the overall team objectives
  • Manage territory by developing a sound knowledge of the industries movements
  • Communicate well with clients & manage high volume of phone calls
  • Work closely & report directly to the General Manager

Requirements

This role will be best suited to a motivated individual who is a natural hunter with an aggressive nature to win business. You will be successful if you; possess the ability to self-manage work autonomously and with a team, driven with a solutions based attitude.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction, earth moving, building industry is essential
  • Knowledge of materials (dirt) and wet plant hire 
  • Ability to think laterally and adapt to an ever changing environment
  • Strong negotiation skills and solution based outlook 
  • Show initiative & a resilient attitude
  • Exceptional communications skills within a team environment 
  • Basic knowledge of CRM’s and Microsoft Office products
  • Must have great knowledge of the western suburbs
  • Applicants with territory management, logistics experience will be highly favourable
